Ultra Design Composites was are a contemporary composite of wood and polymer.

The wood fibres used within the Ultra Design Composites range were sustainably resourced PEFC-certified softwood fibres from post-industrial waste sources such as timber mill trimmings and furniture factory waste. All wood fibres were clean, untreated material free from any toxins or formaldehyde.

The plastics that were used within the Ultra Design Composites range were a combination of post-consumer and post-industrial waste sourced from old food and beverage containers and injection moulding waste from car component manufacturing. All plastics that were used within Ultra Design Composites were high-density polyethylene.
